Da Bears
This seems to be a busy week for bears. First off, one of my co-worker's step-brothers recently was chased by a grizzly bear up near Anchorage. He was acting rather foolishly by running by himself along a trail known for bear-human encounters and, as we all know, those bear-human encounters rarely turn out well for the human. Now, I receive this (click image to enlarge):

Hell yea, that is a great sign!!! That kinda reminds me of the bear warning signs up in Alaska. Well, i was able to get out and do a little fishing this past weekend. Had a great trip fishing the Umpqua with Dad on Friday. The sun was out, osprey a flying... and yea even lots of small mouth, a pumpkinseed or two and a wily old trout. I was also able to get out with a buddy and fish the willamette, it was not quite as productive, however we were still able to round up a few small cutts.
Well hope all is going great and look forward to seeing everyone this weekend and maybe even hooking into a bull or redband...
